We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us for our first farm work day happening soon! Help us grow, plant, and nurture our small yet mighty garden. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn about growing medicinal herbs, and get involved in the creation of our farm.
What to Expect at our Herb Farm Work Party…
On this work day, we'll be focusing on:
Laying compost, weeding and preparing the beds
Moving and planting some cold-hardy herbs
Mulching and planting hawthorns
Laying cardboard weed mats to protect the garden beds
Spring herbal medicine making
Participants will receive some herbal goodies and fun activities in exchange for supporting us, including:
Crafting and Medicine Making: Everyone will get the chance to make some spring tonic medicines and take home our first Herbal CSA Box filled with fresh herbs/plants, seeds, tinctures, and salves to heal and nourish.
Meaningful Connection Activities with Wholesome Generations: We’re thrilled to have Wholesome Generations guiding some fun and engaging activities throughout the day, designed to foster deeper connections and create opportunities for meaningful interactions with others.
Lunch: We will also provide lunch (vendor TBD) for all attendees!
