Join herbalist, Alie Sweany-Rich of Wild Roots on March 26th for a Children’s Herbal Medicine Workshop at Equinox Center of Herbal Studies.

In this Spring Equinox Plant Medicine Workshop, children will be guided in identifying local spring herbs, harvesting and concocting herbal crafts & medicines.

Alie hosts ongoing children’s herbal classes, with the intention of using herbs as a pathway to connect the the magic of nature and share ways to use plants to support our bodies in each season.

Children will be learning of the importance of sustainable harvesting techniques and appropriate safety precautions that must be followed to assure we are using plants that are safe for consumption.

We will be using appropriate child/teen dosage guidelines for herbs and will only be using herbs that have been extensively researched and considered safe for children. Information about herbs used in class will be sent home with the child so they can share whey they learned with family & friends.
