Immerse yourself in the rhythm of the seasons with the Wild Earth Rhythms Workshop Series, presented by Mother Gardener and Wild Roots Studio. Rooted in the cycles of the year, this series blends hands-on gardening, herbal crafting, and nature-based rituals to foster a deep connection to the land and align with the natural rhythm of gardening and herbalism in our unique environment. Through the art of growing herbs, flowers, and exploring folk herbalism, you’ll learn to understand the language of plants while cultivating a profound relationship with nature.

This year-long journey guides participants through planning, planting, tending, harvesting, and crafting medicinal plant remedies, all while honoring the earth’s cycles. Each session highlights seasonal living and the wisdom of the land. Students will learn the foundations of planning and caring for their  own apothecary gardens and the creation of personalized and meaningful garden practices.

Together, we’ll learn interactively on the Wild Roots Farm and craft botanical remedies, such as herbal oil infusions, tinctures, oxymels, flower essences, decoctions, syrups, tea blends, and herbal body products, with wild and cultivated plants through experiential learning.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener or herbalist, these workshops are designed to inspire creativity, nurture your well-being, and deepen your relationship with the natural world. Join us in cultivating seasonal harmony, practical skills, and a community rooted in the beauty of the earth’s cycles.

MARCH eARTH RYTHMS WORKSHOP – WAKING THE EARTH
wood Slice Jewelry, Cottonwood Medicine & Seed Sowing/Blessing
March 6th | Friday | 6–8pm

We’ll begin by working with cottonwood buds, learning about their traditional medicinal uses and crafting a small-batch cottonwood salve. Often used for skin support, muscle relief, and seasonal transitions, this balm carries the grounding energy of early spring. Participants will also create handcrafted wood-slice earrings made from cottonwood, pine, and other locally harvested trees.

The evening continues with intentional seed sowing. We’ll explore how to thoughtfully choose seeds, discuss simple seed-starting soil blends, and take part in a gentle seed-blessing practice to anchor hopes and goals for the growing season ahead.

Blending hands-on herbal making with quiet ritual and practical gardening guidance, this workshop offers space to slow down, listen, and align with the emerging rhythms of spring.

No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to connect more deeply with the land. Whether you are new to gardening and herbalism or already rooted in practice, you’ll leave with meaningful tools, reflection, and seasonal inspiration.

This workshop is open to all genders and offers a welcoming, inclusive space to create and learn together. Designed for adults, teens, and tweens; children ages 9–12 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

APRIL eARTH RYTHMS WORKSHOP
Spring Medicine Making & Garden Guardians
April 11th | Saturday| 10am - Noon

April is a time of movement and renewal. In this spring circle, we’ll work with dandelion and other early-season cleansing herbs to support both personal and garden growth.

Participants will learn about the traditional uses and seasonal role of dandelion and spring tonic herbs, with a focus on gentle detoxification, digestion, and overall resilience. Together, we’ll create a spring tonic, exploring both vinegar and tincture preparations, and discuss how to safely and practically incorporate these remedies into everyday life.

The evening will also include the creation of a Garden Guardian—a symbolic, handmade object placed in the garden to mark intention, protection, and care for the growing season ahead. This practice invites reflection on our role as stewards of the land and offers a meaningful way to anchor presence and responsibility within our outdoor spaces.

This workshop weaves together herbal education, hands-on making, and seasonal reflection, offering practical tools alongside space for connection and intention-setting during this active time of year.

No prior experience is required. Whether you are new to herbalism and gardening or continuing an established practice, this circle is designed to support learning, creativity, and connection to the rhythms of spring.

Soulful Women’s Circles: Aligning with the Seasons & Cycles of Nature

We also offer medicine circles for women. Each month we explore a plant alley and theme.

Each circle is centered around a seasonal or zodiac-inspired theme and includes a meaningful, hands-on craft ritual designed to anchor your intentions into the physical world. These creative practices become living symbols, a small talismans of what you are cultivating and reminders to tend your inner garden with care as the light returns and the days grow longer.

Together, we gather in sacred sisterhood to reflect, create, and align with the vibrant energy of transformation that spring so generously offers. This is a space to be witnessed, supported, and inspired as you step into a season of possibility and expansion.
