Join us November 8th, 15th and 22nd 10-11:30am in exploring and celebrating the wonder of autumn in this Fall Earth Art series. Projects will be inspired by the vibrant beauty of the fall season. There is something magical in combining nature and art. It returns us to a simplicity, wonder and soulful place where we find connection & peace. Nature crafts and activities are a great way to enjoy the outdoors with kids, promote sustainability, and encourage little ones to discover the enchantment of Mother Nature. From this comes an understanding of how special our environment is and how important it is to take care and respect it.
Class can be taken as a series for $70 all three classes or separately for $27 each.
Wild Roots Studio will be guiding earth art projects for both kids & parents. Join us in making spirit sticks and recycled mixed-media collage. Participants will be given paint, clipped words, found objects & nature items to create your own unique collage on repurposed wood sticks & blocks. We ask that each participant bring at least 5 nature items (small rocks, dried flowers, feathers, pine cones, etc.) that will be traded or used in creating your works of art. Parents are welcome to stick around to create their own masterpiece or kids over four may attend without a parent. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot.
