What we offer...

In our After-School Nature Art Workshops we create art with natural and/or recycled materials. We pull ideas for projects from the current seasons. Spring and summer bring projects inspired by colorful blossoms and playing outdoors while the colder months let us explore our inner landscapes and reflect on all that we are grateful for. Often, we like to team our art projects with a simple theme or lesson. For example: Earth looms give us the opportunity to talk about mother nature and what season she is in, which plants are awake and which are asleep, how to take care of our planet and help our plant friends thrive.

How it works...

After-School workshops begin by gathering in circle. A small snack is provided while we share stories, activities and/or lessons on the day's theme before guiding the kids into the project. Projects are completed within 1-2 class periods depending on time and complexity of art work. Thus, for each 4 week session children will complete 2-3 art projects. Each session in the 2017/2018 school year will have different activities and art projects. Sign up for just one or sign up for them all!
